Ramoji Film City
Ramoji Film City is a film studio facility that is spread over 2000 acres and was started in 1996 by Ramoji Rao. The film city is spotted with green gardens, models of historical monuments, and open air film sets. The film city is famous as it the world's largest film studio by the Guinness World Records.
Ramoji Film City has become a popular thematic holiday spot. It features a mix of natural green areas and a theme park. The film city has more than 15 Lakh tourists in a year. It is often referred to as a city within a city.
Ramoji Film City was found by Ramoji Rao, who drew ideas from the Hollywood studios for designing the studio. He planned the film city to be a facility for film production and as a thematic visiting area for visitors. Then Ramoji Rao allocated the work to art director Nitish Roy to design the full complex. The first film shooting at Ramoji Film City was the Maa Nannaku Pellis.
Ramoji Film City Timings - 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. During all special events, there are Carnival celebrations till 9:00 PM.

The studio has different stay packages that include Sitara Luxury Hotel and Hotel Tara. There are six hotels to stay, and internal transport is arranged through vintage buses. There are 1,200 staff members inside the studio. Up to 400 to 500 film makings are shot annually.
