Kasu Brahmanandha Reddy National Park (Kbr)

Kasu Brahmananda Reddy National Park is a national park that is located in Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad. The park is spread over a huge area of 390 acres. KBR was declared as a National Park by the Telangana government in the year 1998. The Eco-sensitive zone inside the park was started on 27 October 2020.

KBR History

KBR was once a palace complex that was given to Prince Mukarram Jah in the year 1967 by his father. The whole palace complex was then declared a national park later. But the Nizam of Hyderabad was left with his control over 11 acres. Then, the Nizam's control was minimised to 6 acres only. Then, the full park was renamed as KBR.
