India’s 26 real estate developers sold properties worth Rs 1.62 lakhs crore in FY25, which is a remarkable increase of 20% from the previous year. Godrej Properties becomes the biggest real estate player by leading the charts of 2025 and clocking presales of Rs 30,000 crores.

DLF Ltd secured the second position with sale bookings of Rs 21,000 crore during 2024 to 2025. Macrotech Developers (Lodha Group) followed the next position with Rs 17,630 crore in bookings. Prestige Estates trailed it with Rs 17,023 crores and by Signature Global at Rs 10,290 crores.

According to the investors' presentations data, the 26 top real estate companies reported a combined sales bookings of Rs 1,61,722 crore in the last fiscal year. Out of the sales, bulk bookings came from luxury homes, with a small contribution from commercial properties. The sales rate increased by more than 20 per cent from 2023 to 2024.

Presale bookings of the top 26 real estate companies

  • Godrej Properties has emerged as the biggest real estate player with presales of Rs 29,444 crores in the last fiscal. The presales bookings amount was Rs 22,527 crore during 2023-24.
  • Aditya Birla had an increase in bookings worth Rs 8,087 crores in the last fiscal, which was an upsurge from Rs 3,985 crores in the previous year.
  • Brigade Enterprises had an increase in sales booking of Rs 7,847 crores, which was against Rs 6,013 crores.
  • Sobha Ltd's presales booking fell from Rs 6,644 crores to Rs 6,277 crores.
  • Max Estates sold an increase in bookings worth Rs 5,321 crore in the last fiscal, which improved from Rs 1,844 crore in the previous year.
  • Oberoi Realty had an increased booking for real estate properties for Rs 5,281 crore in FY25.
  • Puravankara Ltd bookings declined from Rs 5,914 crore to Rs 5,006 crore.
  • DLF's sales bookings recorded a massive hit of Rs 21,223 crore which a sharp increase from Rs 14,778 crores due to high sales in the luxury segment.
  • Macrotech Developers Ltd reported an increased sales of Rs 17,630 crore in 2025, when compared to Rs 14,520 crores in the last year.
  • Prestige Estates Projects' sales was a decline to Rs 17,023 crores in the last fiscal, and in 2023 to 2024, it was Rs 21,040 crores.
  • Signature Global achieved sales bookings rose to Rs 10,290 crore this year from Rs 7,270 crores last year.
  • TARC Ltd sold real estate properties bookings worth Rs 3,722 crore in FY2025, which was a good rise from Rs 1,612 crore in FY24.
  • Keystone Realtors' bookings grew from Rs 2,266 crores to Rs 3,028 crores.
  • Raymond Ltd housing bookings were worth Rs 2,310 crore in FY25, which was Rs 2,249 crores in the previous year.
  • Shriram Properties' bookings fell from Rs 2,362 crore to Rs 2,288 crore in 2025.
  • Embassy Developments had an increased sales of Rs 2,031 crore last fiscal, when compared to Rs 1,838 crores in 2023 to 24.
  • Ashiana Housing Ltd reported an increased bookings of Rs 1,936.75 crore against Rs 1,798.22 crore in previous year.
  • Mahindra Lifespace presales bookings enlarged greatly to Rs 2,804 crores from Rs 2,328 crores in the last year 2024.
  • Kolte-Patil Developers Ltd sales bookings fell from Rs 2,822 crores to Rs 2,791 crores.
  • Sunteck Realty sales booking went from Rs 1,915 crores to Rs 2,531 crores.
  • Arihant Superstructures' bookings were Rs 888.7 crore, which was against Rs 970.6 crore.
  • Arkade Developers' bookings saw an increase from Rs 645 crores to Rs 773 crores.
  • Suraj Estate Developers' bookings were worth Rs 501 crore in FY25 against Rs 483 crore in the past year.
  • Eldeco Housing Ltd had a presales bookings of Rs 337.5 crore in the fiscal of 2025, which was against Rs 388.7 crores in the 2024 year.
  • Arvind Smartspaces sold real estate properties worth Rs 1,271 crore in 2025 against Rs 1,107 crore in the last year.
  • Ajmera Realty & Infrastructure Ltd sales bookings grew to Rs 1,080 crore from Rs 1,017 crore.

Market experts credited the strong performance of listed players to a shift in buyers' preference towards branded players, which have a track record of executing the best real estate projects.
