Reputed Realty firm, Godrej Properties, acquires a 14-acre land parcel in Kharadi, Pune, to develop a premium housing project worth Rs. 4200 crores. The development will comprise premium group housing, with a potential developable area of 3.7 million square feet.
Gaurav Pandey, CEO, said, "Kharadi is one of the sought-after zones in Pune, and we are pleased to enter this Indian micro market. This enhances our presence in Pune and helps to strengthen our presence across prime micro markets in India." The land parcel is strategically located in a prime area near major commercial hubs in Pune. It is also in proximity to Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Airport.
Godrej Properties, booking value grew 7% year-on-year to Rs. 10,163 crores in Q4 FY25. The target was got as 3,703 homes got sold with a total area of 7.52 million sq ft.
For FY25, the collections are Rs. 17,047 crores which shows an excellent YoY growth rate of 49%. In FY26, the target of the company was to grow residential bookings over Rs. 32,500 crores. It will result in 20% better growth over FY25 with the launch of Rs. 40,000 crores of inventory.
Pune real estate is now steady since April 2025. The registrations of new properties increased by 1% year-on-year to 14,421 this year from 14,244 in April 2024. But stamp duty collections declined by 3% in Pune in April 2025. It resulted in Rs. 547 crores when compared to Rs. 566 crores in the last year.
